Alac'Rah (Alack-Rah)
Height: 10-12hh
Sub-specie: Winged rah, moderate to flightless. (Type of Seih)
Colours: Pale pastels/white, then any (when cold-time fur sheds)
Feet: Back hooves like caribou, front paws fuzzy like arctic fox
Eyes: Similar to a snowshoe rabbit, that can change colour to semi-blue reduce snow glare like a caribou.
Friendly with: Keeps to themselves, rare to be seen, even rarer to be in any harem outside their own kind.

Location:
Alec'Rah live in the tiny remote Island spit that branches off from Uhoni, between Shalana and the Quinu settlement Island.
That is the location of their home base/mound of Ice and Snow.
Its an area that has Snow and Ice all year round unlike the rest of the Kingdoms, where burn-time quickly melts any cold-time evidence away.
Well adapted to cold climate, these Rah survive the harsh Cold-time better than any 'Rah in the Kingdoms.
Growing thick plush fur in the colder months that is pale in colour to blend in with the ice and snow.
Food:
Food is usually raw, frozen or dried. The foods, which are native to the region, are packed with the vitamins and nutrients people need to stay nourished in the harsh winter conditions.
They very much enjoy seaweed and is added to most meals, either raw or dried.
They have one giant city that is carved out of ice beneath the massive snow drifts, the entrnace is surrounded by grand snow sculptures outside, and ornately carved/smooth ice interiors.
The city is located in the coldest part of the Kingdoms and normal Rah usually can't find it as they are unable to fare the intense cold enough to search, and their eyes aren't accustomed to the harsh brilliance of the snow. The snow equivalent to being lost in the desert.
Hunter-Gatherers
The hunter-gatherers of the city mound are semi-nomadic, they follow the climate, and even venturing down into the Kingdoms that experience heat/warmth and burn-time to gather food stores. Most active during cold-time and can move about freely without much risk of exposure. They make small temporary ice huts as their base during this time, to sleep in, rest, and keep warm from the climate.
The Alac that hunt in the Warmer climates during this time, shed/slough off heir plush fur and expose their brilliant 'true' colours and resemble somewhat like a Saluki, or a Rah with Very short wings and thick manes. Once shed, their under fur colours can be quite beautiful, usually hidden by the thick pale furs evolved for the arctic climate.
These ones have over time developed hair that can shed (like an arctic fox) and they collect the molted fur to use as stuffing/lining in their bedding, blankets and pillows.
They are usually mistaken as Seih'Rah with dwarfism from a distance, and so have been left relatively alone and are mostly unknown by 'outsiders' for who they truly are.
Shelter:
The Gatherers during in-between seasonal months, usually make thickets out of woven fresh foliage and enjoy the warmth during these times away from home base.
During burn-time they retreat deep down into colder areas like caves that still have un-melted ice, building temporary homes out of carved sleeping areas.
Usually they will return to the same areas on their routes, and only need minor alterations to the areas after absences.
In cold-time they survive on frozen fish and other animals who have succumbed to the harsh elements, which are brought back to consume.
In-between they survive on roots/tuber vegetables, fruits and berries, as well as leafy greens. Which they also gather and dry to store for the cold-time.
Due to their nomadic tenancies, the Gatherers often come into contact with the other nomadic peoples the Oryn-Rah. Whom have a large underground network of tunnels and byways for traveling during extreme weather. As Seih'Rah and most other winged peoples usually travel by skies, they do not bump into the Oryn or Alac half as much.
They usually only pass ways at Marketplaces and other communal gatherings.
