Rahs give offerings to the Deities, as well as to family and friends. Since the deities granted them life by stopping the war, and they were grateful to be able to spend time with each other again without fear. Gifts to Deities are acts of service, clearing anything damaged by nature(storms/floods) helping elderly or large families with chores. Temples are cleaned top to bottom, and botanicals tended to. Rah take extra care to personal hygiene, and oils/scents worn. Sweet and Savoury foods exchanged. Young ones are told about the different Deities and what parts of nature they represent, and how to respect nature and work with it to survive. |
In honor of those fallen in war, the Deities created a Tree with large blue flowers, that only blooms once a year, at the time of remembrance.
As it comes closer to the time, these flowers flash faintly like the beats of a heart. When plucked, the flower glows solidly, with sparkles on the tips of the petals.
Thus earning the name of 'Heart-bloom' for the ethereal floras.
Each Rah lets go of these Glowing flowers over the Breath falls. A waterfall by a cliff edge, where the hot desert air meets the cold Ocean air, causing an updraft. It carries the flowers like lanterns up into the sky like stars, where they pulsate like heartbeats again. The Deities absorb these flowers back into the either, knowing the Rah still honor the tradition, and promise for no more war.
-Deity intervention day-
Before the day of Rememberance
Families of each Kingdom/Realm 'Rah would parade together, each wearing the Armor of their ex warring family member.
The processions would meet all together at the final place and re-enact the arrival of the Deities and end of the War.
The ones who wear the Armor exchange bouquets of the Heart-bloom flowers and then the flowers begin to pulsate with light.
This signals the beginning of the ceremonial pilgrimage to Breath falls.
Heart-bloom is a special flower that blooms only this time of year, a vivid electric blue, and appears everywhere allover the realms.

On Day two, is Kah-Day
Kah-Day honors those who have passed before, during and since the Great War, a time for the community to gather as one.
The 'Rah believe that this day is where they can feel the 'Breath' and lifeforce of thier loved ones no longer on the physical plane of existance.
After the Remembrance ceremony, there are both quiet contemplation areas in the temples, as well as parties in the market square and inside homes.
Some may write letters to loved ones passed, and burn them to release the words into the beyond.
Others burn incense and sprinkle dried flower pettles in the temple shrines.
Bloomflower trees are planted from cuttings, at the path leading to Breath-falls
Loved ones who have passed (not from War) are celebrated.
Fur is decorated with Bio-Luminescent fungi paste
Rah feast and dance in their honor

On Day three, the last ceremony is Peace treaty day
Honoring the end of the Great War and the agreement to never let this happen again, for too much pain and bloodshed.
Kingdoms/Realms send each other peace treaty gifts, something that is their main trading element, enough to spread out to the population of those kingdoms.
Gift-giving represented the establishing of peace treaty trade routes between marketplaces, Realms, and land masses.
